This little girl has stolen my heart. Words cant even begin to explain it. how did I live without her? She is this flawless perfect little being, who lives it seems to bring joy into my life. I love her innocence. her perfect curiosity. I love her more and more every single day.
gosh, it's a good thing I didn't know sooner how amazing these little guys are. I would have a whole baseball team by now.

So as stated before I am a nerd. there is no way to sugar coat it. I'm a full blown dork. I'm coming to terms with it. My husband is constantly berated by me joking that he is a nerd but in reality I'm the level 500 geek.
here is some of the ways i love to geek out. (please do not judge me as these are not the typical cool nerdy things)
1. I love to watch people play video games. I say watch because I like to navigate. I'm not good at controlling the character but I love to be a helper. I'm the perfect match for Jesse because he is great at controlling but not so good at solving riddles and remembering where to go. We have recently played Fable 1 & 2 (we have 3 but i'm kinda board with it), Assassin creed, Castlevainia, and we are currently on Darksiders.
2. ok, this is my most recent nerdy hobby but i'm in love with it. Magic the Gathering!!
it's a strategy card game. I remembered kids playing this in middle school but I probably just made fun of them instead of giving it a chance. Well it's the most fun. it was a little rough trying to learn the rules but after a night of fighting with jesse over the difference of flying attacks vs vigilance attacks and what power and strength meant I was hooked. It wasn't hard to hook our roommate and a visiting friend Wendy too. Magic is like Twilight you make the most fun of it until you secretly give it a try then you're hooked and there is no way out.
3. I love to do math. Almost at anytime i'm doing math problems in my head. I have no idea where this comes from but i've always enjoyed it. I got a email from a friend sending me a link to this awesome tutorial web site where you can learn pretty much anything. On the site they have math tests and i spent hours the other night doing them for fun. Jesse is still making fun of me. Who does that!?!? If you do please let me know i'm not alone!
So i think i better end there in risk of losing the few followers i have!
I hope you still like me!
xoxo
P.S. I love that Jovi is in all these pictures. She is such a good sport.

I'm super into Photography and I have been trying to take it more and more seriously lately. I think you can say way more with a good photo than you can with words. I was really hoping that I would have tons of free time to dive into my hobby after the birth of Jovi. Well, that turned out to be wishful thinking. Who knew that a baby takes up most of your time. I still shoot here and there and hopefully when Jovi is a little bigger i'll get to really dive in.
this is a photo I took of my beautiful friend Wendy
For now I spend most my time looking at pretty pictures and day dreaming of taking them my own self. I've also been taking lots of online tutorials on photo editing. It's unbelievable what can be done to a photo in Photoshop.
So here are some pretty picture inspiration that I've been drooling over
how freakin talented are these guys!!!?!?!?! I would love to work for them. they build/ make everything in their shoots. ehh in my dreams!!!!
My friend Nicolle is a genius. and check out my beautiful friend Kandy on the left.
I could learn so much from the amazing lady. Most her work is all self portraits. super creative and stunning. the link is for her etsy account but she also has a blog
well I could keep going for days but i'll save more for next week.
XOXO

So as most of you know i'm a tattoo artist. I'm gonna start posting pictures of my favorite work from that week .
this is a really fun piece that i'm working on for my friends brother. he is super patriotic and wanted the heart ripping out of his skin with the american flag behind it. haha I talked him into this version instead. I cant wait to finish it.
You've got to love the client who totally gives you the freedom to do what ever you want. I've really been wanting to do a hurricane lantern for a while and i'm loving the way this is turning out.
I do tons and tons of sugar skulls. they never get old with their endless color options and fun shapes.
that's it for this week. I hope you guys like them

When I started this blog a year ago I was very new to the blogging scene. I was freshly pregnant and wanted away to journal my transformation to mommyhood. I have to admit that part of me just wanted to be cool and have a blog. Don't you know it's the cool thing to do.
Quickly into my first year of blogging I kinda stopped caring. Life got busy and hectic and I put it on the back burner only updating once a month if at all. I didn't however stop reading other peoples' blogs. now that it's been a while and i've been following a lot of the same people I have realized what keeps me interested and coming back. I love the girls that know who they are what they believe and what they stand for. they have their own opinions and style. they do not try to pretend to be cool are something they aren't. I am in no way dissing blogger quite the opposite. I'm commending those people out there that aren't blogging to be something they aren't but instead are proud of who they are.
Ok that being said. I know now, why i was bored with blogging and hardly ever posted. I never found my voice. I am NOT a writer!! I never have been and never will be a girl of many words. I'm awful with grammar and spelling and often times i just don't care. Plus i felt like i needed to fit this mold of what all these other bloggers were doing. I would only make posts about the things i thought other people would think was cool. well I'm not really that cool. in fact i'm a nerd. a pretty big nerd. I'm Ok with it and maybe you find that interesting if you do please keeping following me cause for now on i'm letting my whole self shine!!! Here comes the nerd!!
XOXO

My little Monster is growing up! I hate it. I look at photos of her from only a few months ago and she has gotten huge. These past 6 months have gone by so fast and I want them back. before I know it she'll be off the school and moving out. :)
I love her so much. I never knew that I could adore someone as much as I adore her. her little gummy smile warms my heart every time. Each new noise she makes gets applauds and laughter out of me. I love how she reaches for me and Jesse when she wants to get picked up, or how her adorable bottom lip turns in to a square when she cries. How every morning I wake up with her tiny little arm stretched across me and her legs draped over me. She is perfect and I don't know how I went one day without her.
here are some milestones she has reached recently
can almost crawl.
laughs all the time.
ate solids for the first time this week, a banana.
can sit up.
started sucking her thumb.
finally is starting to like the car seat.
can balance her self while standing if holding on to something.

Hey guys I know it's been awhile. I thought I'd do some show and tell of our latest adventure. We took Jovi to NJ and Cali to meet her family. It was quite the adventure and such a blessing to see her with her grandparents.
Since a picture says a thousand words I'll let them do the talking.
xoxo
