Traci, my best friend came out to visit!! I actually just dropped her off at the airport :( I have known traci for the past ten yrs. We were roommates in college and became in separable. Even when we live crazy far from each other we find ways to see each other and stay close. Her sister surprised her for Christmas with tickets out here. I was so happy I was able to spend time with her and that she got to meet Jovi.  She was only her for a short time but had a lot of fun and did so much. I'm use to just spending time at home taking care of Jo.

It's amazing having a friend like Traci. She always calls me on my crap, but she also makes sure to support me. We have both watched each other change and grow into the woman we are today. when we met we were babies, and we were nuts. traci was my partner in crime. she was always down for adventures we did everything together. Traci was always the life of the party the person who would make you  roll around on the ground laughing. We would stop the car and have mini dance parties on the side on the roads together.

10 yrs later we are much older and things have calmed down a little bit. it's so interesting to see how we've changed. I've moved to Hawaii gotten married and had a baby. She is pursuing her dreams of helping women  and making the world a better place for them by demanding equality. i'm so proud of her and her convictions.

Photos from her trip. I already miss her. Maybe one day i"ll convince her to move here.

Oh man did we have a busy week. My Good old friend Traci came to visit. Jovi had her first day at the beach, we had a dinner party, played clue, played cards,  played more cards, and went to the art museum. I'm planning on posting about all of those things but first of all Jovi's first day at the beach.

We have been looking forward to bringing our baby girl to the beach since before her birth. I absolutely love babies in bathing suites. i dont think there could be anything cuter in the world.. well maybe puppies and kittens. I have a huge collections of bathing suites for Jovi and have been dying to try them out. especially with her new baby sunglasses

Last sunday was finally that day. we drove out to kailua to our friends James and Kristina's place. They pretty much live on the beach and it's beautiful out there. I was kinda afraid of her getting sand in her eyes or something like that so i was a little on edge but it was a beautiful day and we had so much fun. It was to cold for her to go in the water but there will be plenty of time for that later on. I really think she loved it she took a power nap in the shade of our umbrella and was all smiles.

After the beach we headed back to Kristina's place for lunch. me and Kristina hung out and talked while the boys played video games. Perfect relaxing sunday. A much needed relaxing day.

enjoy the photos

For some reason I thought I would finish so many new painting with all this time off from work. Well, I was wrong. It's not that easy to paint when you have a little baby stuck to the beewb all day. Now that things have calmed down a bit and I'm getting more into the swing of motherhood. I finally found some time to paint.  Forgive the iphone photos I forgot to charge my cannon.

I really really love painting, and I'm hoping to find more time to work on some new ideas. I was also thinking about doing a painting tutorial if anyone is interested. These are done in water color but I also use oil from time to time. Oil is nice because it's so much different then tattooing. Water color can sometimes just feel like work to me, not very relaxing.

I hope you guys like them

Jovi got a little surprise package in the mail today from grandma. Boy oh boy did she luck out.  lots of new outfits, a new pink tutu,  and my favorite thing ever...baby sun glasses. Totally a necessity living in hawaii. got to protect those big blues. (well they are blue for now, heres hoping for green!)

And I thought she couldn't get any cuter

I love waking up to this beautiful little face. Isn't she adorable? She is just learning to smile. She is such a happy morning baby. All smiles and oooohhs and aaaaaaahs. It makes getting up early so much better

Jen of Jen loves Kev made a post of her top 3 favorite places. I thought I would jump on this bandwagon and post mine.

number 1 favorite place on the planet dun..dun...dun
HAWAII
Before I moved to hawaii for good I came out here on vacation. I fell in love with it right away. What's not to love, perfect weather, crystal clear waters, rain forests, and ohh yah, I met the man of my dreams here. I  hope all of you can truly say they couldn't be any happier with where they live.

Number 2: New Jeresy
I know what your thinking NJ!!! Really? YES!! I grew up there, my family still lives there in addition to a lot of my friends. plus it's rad, it's right in between Philly, NYC, and Baltimore. we have awesome boardwalks. and despite what ya'll have heard it's not dirty in fact it's called the garden state for a reason. I've got tons of jersey pride and Im not afraid to show it.

And finally Number 3: Philly
Philadelphia is the perfect city. I went to school there and lived there for 6 years. If it didn't get so cold I'd still want to live there. It's beautifully historic, has a great night life, tons of shows, is great for biking around and has lots of culture.

I've traveled a bit and been to europe but in the end my favorite places will always involve lots of friends family and memories.

She looked this adorable for maybe a few minutes when out came the projectile throw-up from hell!! It figures, she is usually a naked baby but when I get her all dolled up she ends up getting her way anyways. ehh, well at least I got this cute photo. I'm a little late on the Instagram crazy but now that I've figure out how everyone has such rad photos I'm jumping right on that train.
